KDDL Limited, Unit – EIGEN welcomes you to the arena of precision stampings. Our unit is ISO 9001:2000 certified and is engaged in manufacturing of custom made precision pressed components and press tools. With superior quality stampings, we have positioned ourselves as the prominent precision stamped parts manufacturer and supplier in India. In addition to this, we also undertake job work in optical profile grinding and jig grinding.

The company was incepted on January 8, 1981 as Kamla Dials and Devices Limited to cater to the luxury watch industry. The name was changed to KDDL Limited with effect from 14th September 2007.

The company is a flagship of Saboo Business Group which is the leading manufacturer of quality watch dials and hands. We are the principal supplier of these components in domestic as well as international markets. The various divisions of the Saboo Business Group are as follows:

Ethos: Swiss Watch Studios. This company is engaged in the business of retailing various premium quality luxury Swiss watches.
Eigen: The tool room division of KDDL Limited is involved in designing and manufacturing of high precision stampings and related components that are widely used in varied sectors.
Saboo Coatings Ltd.: (SCL) is a manufacturer of Specialty Coatings, specialty lacquers, novelty paints and designer finishes. SCL offers wide scope of applications and possibilities in specialty coatings on metals, plastics, FRP, wood and glass.

The Tool Room Division – Eigen Engineering
The captive tool room for making watch dials and hands having excess capacity was utilized for making stamped components for other sectors also from 1997. In 2005, this tool room was set up as a separate profit centre and was named ‘Eigen’.

Presently, ‘Eigen’ is the preferred supplier of precision press tools and stamped parts in domestic as well as international market. Our present client network spreads to UK, France, Switzerland, and USA.

The tool room is the centre of our manufacturing unit which facilitates in manufacturing international quality precision stamped parts and press tools. Our core strength lies in the design and development of progressive tools. More than 400 press tools have been developed till now after inception of ‘Eigen’.

Infrastructure
Imported high speed presses running at even 1000 SPM, enables us to meet customer demands which ranges from as low as 100 parts per month to Millions per month for various customers. In-house CNC vacuum heat treatment facility gives us better control over heat treatment procedures for tool elements as well as components.

Tool Design:
We have a strong Tool design team with experience of more than 20-25 years in precision tooling and trained in Switzerland and Japan. Our design team uses latest soft wares like Solidworks, Unigraphics and Auto Cad 2009.

Tool Development / Tool Room:
We have skilled toolmakers from NTTF, GTTC etc. trained in precision tooling headed by veterans with more than 25 years experience. Our tool room facility includes:

We are a group having the nimbleness and willingness of a small, start-up company with the experience of a veteran. We design and develop precision press tools and manufacture and supply precision stamped components. The services offered by us include designing and manufacture of simple, compound and progressive tools and its maintenance during production of stampings.

In addition to this, we also undertake job work in optical profile grinding, jig grinding, vacuum heat treatment, etc. We offer customized solutions as per the requirements and specifications of clients.
